Democrats are always scheming but they have a real conundrum now because they can't bypass Kamala. They're hoping that Biden's debate performance was a one-off, so they're going to give him a chance to redeem himself. On Friday, July 5, a taped interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC news will air at 6:30pm. Of course, the interview was taped July 3 and likely edited to make him look good.

At this point, I don't see how they convince the public he is suddenly okay with a taped interview. From what I've read so far, if Joe doesn't run it has to be Kamala to replace him. Could you imagine the uproar if they were to replace her with Gavin Newsome or Gretchen Whitmer? Their base of people of color said they won't vote for them.

The Dems only have two options now; bad and worse. I don't see how the Dems ever recover from this.
