Do you think this could be true? (Public Board)
"According to a survey by Resume Templates, 26 percent of those ages 18 to 27 brought along a parent to a job interview — and that’s just the beginning of the disturbing findings from the survey, conducted in April among 1,428 U.S.-based respondents who said they had searched for a job in the last year."
I hope it isn't but if it is, this world is in trouble. They have to grow up sometime and if it means failing to get the job, as we've all gone through, that's the breaks. They need to get used to rejection and do better the next time.
The parents sitting in on their kid's job interview are doing that kid a huge disservice. They need to let go. I can't believe they were talking about "kids" aged 18 to 27. Age 27 is not a kid.
