Me, I'm a realist. Of course I've staked extreme positions. Where the evidence and my intuition points I suspect things. Is something I posted over the top? (allowing of course for the normal Bored Bystander outrage quotient?)
Just keep one thing in mind however. Alex Jones is the poster child of crazy outrage but many of his theories have been vindicated. So something that sounds crazy may point to the truth.

Just consider how far left the Overton window has moved - anyone not on board with that shit feels at siege. I sure do.
Example: Gays got gay marriage in 2015, but pride and hard core stuff like child transitioning, drag queen events for kids, and the constant evangelization of LGBT by the media and big business feels suffocating. I don't give one fuck what someone does in their home with others who are consenting. But indoctrinating 9 year olds to consider sex change is evil.
Another blatant example race relations. We had a black president from 2009 to 2015. It SEEMED like racial relations would improve and at the time I was all in on it. Not as appeasement, but for the symbolism of a black president "finally". Then came the 2020 "summer of love" Fentanyl Floyd riots and the screaming about white privilege and the casting of race as a battleground. It was basically the case that no matter what real progress had been made, liberals screamed that the racial relations clock was zeroed
And a further example: casting anything patriotic as racist and backward. We used to go to a Lutheran church that has gone totally woke. The faggot worshipping pastor there touts Pride non stop. NOT ONE GODDAMNED WORD ABOUT MEMORIAL DAY IN THE CHURCH'S COMMUNICATIONS.
My point is this - what has happened repeatedly is:
- The left wants X. (blacks on equal ground in all respects, stopping harrassment of LGBT)
- The nation eventually responds and provides X as a permanent feature.
- The left THEN demands XXXXXXXX - an order of magnitude more "X".
At my end I say to the XXXXXXXX demanders - fuck you! So do those in my affiliation.
If you want to look at a root cause, it's totally the left. Get out of my face with retarded green energy shit, feeling guilty for being white, and aggressive normalization of perversions, and I'm good and most of us are good.
So you have an interesting notion and I want some examples from here that are out of bounds, but that's how I see the state of right politics.
You're a logical man and I know you did give an honest spit take on your gut feeling. But the overall context of where that craziness originated has to be considered.
I didn't even scratch the surface either. I cited overreach of the left, but overreach of the establishment is also a factor. We're told not to believe photos showing Biden decrepitude. Inflation is not that bad. The economy is in great shape (with a 35T debt to boot.) Russia will attack everyone, so funnel billions to Ukraine.
