Civil disobedience at polling places and ballot drops - P.A.G.A.N.

The right is now hyper-aware of how the 2020 election was rigged and has watched endless news stories about the hockey stick shaped Democratic voting patterns overnight, the shooing away of observers and conveniently continuing vote tallying, the limos dropping off bales of election ballots, etc.

I don't think the civil disorder will wait until after the election results are computed.

I think we're going to see widespread fights, possibly gunfights, angry mobs, election places being stormed, lots and lots of arrests, and other attempted intervention into the voting process. This will simply "goose" the anger that will occur naturally after the election.

We'll probably witness harassment of voters who are suspected of being non citizens and immigrants.

There's just too much resentment for the right to pass on the process and be ok with it.

I expect martial law by mid November and I will be surprised if this does not occur.

This scenario occurred to me recently. I see this as how political violence really kicks in from the current cycle.

At VERY least: The Biden admin's adamant inclusion of non citizens as allowed general election voters is a direct and clear incitement to one on one violence. There are so many on the right who are offended and disgusted by this that violence as a result of just this element can't be avoided.

Someone's going to get their head kicked in and assaulted. Deservedly.

Plus the laundry list of the generally understood steal procedures.

For all the talk about 2A, I don't think any American will do anything firearm-related for some time yet. There has been no evidence of any such inclination to date.

That is not to say that nothing will happen ever. When someone has nothing to lose, that is the time they might take drastic action. At the moment, I believe Americans believe they haven't yet reached the point where they have nothing to lose.

I'm not very specific about the form of any election related violence. IMO it probably won't start as shootings.

I would expect, for example, that in some places, voters who appear to only speak Spanish and have the obvious mestizo skin color, will be stopped and confronted by right wingers who don't accept non citizens voting. These face to face confrontations will lead to assaults.

And enough assaults happen and word gets out, then things can escalate.

I don't agree that those attacking initially have to feel that they have nothing to lose. They may have such a feeling that the system is rigged against them that they take it out on individuals who are close by symbols.

Maybe it starts sooner? Remember the 1968 Democrat Convention? That also took place in Chicago.

There could be a lot of tension depending on how the Joe thing plays out. The Obamas are from Chicago and there are those rumors that Michele Obama could end up on the ticket if Biden drops out.
