In a hotly contested election, Jamaal Bowman lost the primary for his House district. After he came out supporting Hamas, a bunch of people (including Jews) got Latimer to join the race and gave him a ton of money.

The extreme left faction of the Democrat party has been "primarying" moderates and winning, taking their seats. This is the first time an extreme left-wing Democrat lost a primary to a moderate.

The district is something like 10% Jewish and some people said the voter turnout for Jews in the primary was 80-90% or more.
