An EV is basically a rolling death wagon of third world slavery and environmental poison. Advocated by soyence originated from science-illiterate pink hairs.

What would you do if someone gifted you a newish EV? I would personally take it for a few drives to experience it just to say I drove an EV, and then resell it ASAP. I would treat it as a $40K+ hot potato.

The lithium mining process "evaporation pools" wastes a ton of water. It's so bad that it's created a water shortage in countries that do lithium mining.

The batteries wear out after a few years. Replacing the batteries on an electric car costs almost as much as a new car.

There's the problem of recycling worn out batteries, and the fire hazard.

There's the range problem. You can only go 100-150 miles before you have to recharge.

yes the whole thing is insane. Without taxpayer subsidies, none of these vehicles would've made it to prototype let alone get on the road. It's malice.
